Curds & Cocktails w/Art In The Age

Join us for a class series celebrating Fall flavors and exploring the art of pairing cheese with spirits and cocktails! We are so excited to partner with Art in the Age, a one-of-a-kind bottle shop and bar supply store to combine our knowledge on this topic and present a truly unique tasting experience.

This two-part series will begin at Art in the Age’s Old City tasting room on Oct 18th, where their expert bartenders have been challenged to pair drinks to a board of some of Philly Cheese School founder, Julia Birnbaum’s favorite artisanal cheeses for Fall. Guests will taste and sip their way through the spread while learning about the items served, and how to pair cheeses with beverages of all kinds. Tickets for this session are available here!

Then, the learning continues the following week on Oct. 27th at the Philly Cheese School Classroom in South Philly where Julia will present a spread of cheeses paired to a flight of unique beverages that the bartenders at Art in the Age chose. Tickets for this session are available below.

Both classes will be a tremendous opportunity to learn about cheese, spirits and pairing from some industry professionals, each with their own unique experience and perspectives.

While attendance at both sessions is not required, guests that make it to both classes will receive a mystery gift package of AITA and PCS goodies, valued at $50.  

After class, participants will have access to the PCS Classroom Gift Shop, stocked with PCS merchandise and a rotating selection of cheese-themed gift items.
